Prof. Sahib Singhਕੋਈ ਮੰਗਤਾ (ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮਹਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰ) ਸੁਣ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਰਿ = (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਦਰ ਤੇ। ਮਾਂਗਤੁ = ਕੋਈ ਮੰਗਤਾ (ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਦਾ ਹੋਵੇ)। ਕੂਕ = ਪੁਕਾਰ, ਫ਼ਰਿਆਦ। ਮਹਲੀ = ਮਹਲ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਫਿਰ) ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦੇਵੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਧੱਕਾ ਦੇ ਦੇਵੇ (ਮੰਗਤੇ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਸੁਣ ਲੈਣ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਹੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੀਰਕ = ਧੀਰਜ, ਹੌਸਲਾ। ਦੇਇ = ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਔਰ ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੀ ਕੋ ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਦੇਤਾ ਹੈ, (ਵਖਾਣੈ) ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਉਸ ਕੇ ਕਰਮੋਂ ਕਾ ਹਿਸਾਬ ਆਗੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਪੂਛ ਕਰ ਲੇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥੪॥੩॥☬ਕਹੀਂ ਰਾਸ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਥੀ। ਸਿਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਹਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਚਲ ਕਰ ਦੇਖੀਏ। ਮਾਯਾ ਕੀ ਪਰਬਲਤਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਕਲਿਜੁਗ ਕੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਕੀ ਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੇਖਾਵਤੇ ਹੂਏ ਵੱਡੀ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਰੂਪ ਰਾਸ ਦੇਖਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਜੋ ਹਮੇਸਾਂ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਜਿਸ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਦਾਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਲੇਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਹ ਜੀਵ ਕੋਈ ਅਜੇਹੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੋਈ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ) ॥੪॥੩॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵਖਾਣੈ = ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੂਛ ਨ ਲੇਇ = ਲੇਖਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦਾ ॥੪॥੩॥
