ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਏਕਮ = ਪੂਰਨਮਾਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਗਲੀ 'ਥਿਤਿ' ਜਦੋਂ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਕਲਾ ਘਟ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਦਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਆਕਾਰ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੌਧਵਾਂ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ। ਕਰਉ = ਕਰਉਂ, ਮੈਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਬੰਦਨਾ = ਨਮਸਕਾਰ।
