Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਹਾਥੀ, ਰਥ, ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਵੇਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਘੋੜੇ (ਹੋਣ), ਧਨਾਢ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜ਼ਿਮੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੋਵੇ, ਚਾਰ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੋਵੇ-ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਸਤਿ = ਹਾਥੀ। ਅਸ੍ਵ = ਘੋੜੇ। ਪਵਨ ਤੇਜ = ਹਵਾ ਦੇ ਵੇਗ ਵਾਲੇ। ਧਣੀ = ਧਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ। ਭੂਮਨ = ਜ਼ਿਮੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ। ਚਤੁਰਾਂਗਾ = ਚਾਰ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ: ਹਾਥੀ, ਰਥ, ਘੋੜੇ, ਪੈਦਲ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਤਬ (ਈਹਾ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਸੁਖ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਔਰ ਆਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਮੁਖ ਕਾ ਉਜਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਸੰਤੋਂ ਕੇ ਸੰਗ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਪਾਈਤਾ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧॥☬ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ) ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਖ਼-ਰੂ ਹੋ ਜਾਈਦਾ ਹੈ। (ਪਰ ਇਹ ਦਾਤਿ) ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਈਹਾ = ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਆਗੈ = ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ। ਊਜਲ = ਰੌਸ਼ਨ। ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ = ਦੇ ਨਾਲ, ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ ॥੪॥੧॥
