ਹੁਕਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਣੈ; ਬਹੁਤਾ ਰੋਵੈ ॥

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਰੋਵਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਏਹਿ ਕਿ ਅਤਿ ਦੁਖਤ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਭਾਣੇ ਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦੀ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਲਪਣਾ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੋਵੈ = ਕਲਪਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਸ ਪੁਰਸ ਕੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਮੇਂ (ਧੋਖਾ) ਸਹਸਾ ਹੈ, ਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਿੰਦ੍ਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵਤੀ ਸੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਭਾਵ ਏਹਿ ਕਿ ਸੁਖ ਪੂਰਬਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੋਤਾ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁਖ ਦੀ) ਨੀਂਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੌਂ ਸਕਦਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਕਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੋਖਾ = ਚਿੰਤਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਤਾਂ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ) ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਦਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਰਿ = (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ) ਦਰ ਤੇ। ਮਹਿਲ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਮਹਲ ਵਿਚ, ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿਚ।
