ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੂਲੀ ਭੂਲੀ = ਬਥੇਰਾ ਚਿਰ ਖੁੰਝੀ ਹੋਈ। ਪਾਧਰੁ = ਪੱਧਰਾ ਰਾਹ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਕੋਈ ਧਿਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਿਆਣੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛੋ, ਭਲਾ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਕੱਟ ਦੇਵੇ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜੇਕਰ ਸੱਚੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਮੇਰੇ ਚਿੱਤ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰ ਲੈਣ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿੱਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਐਨ ਉਸੇ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੇਖ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸਤਿਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਕਹਿਆ: ਜਬ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਕਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਾਚਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਵਸੇ ਤਬ ਸਾਜਨ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ਕੋ (ਉਤ ਹੀ) ਉਸੀ ਅੰਤਸਕਰਣ ਮੇਂ ਦੇਖ ਲਏਗਾ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਤਾਂ ਸੱਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਭੀ ਓਸੇ ਥਾਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ),
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਤ ਹੀ ਠਾਇ = ਓਸੇ ਥਾਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੀਐ = ਰੱਜ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਭਟਕਣੋਂ ਹਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਇ = ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ॥੧॥
