Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਲੁਕਾਇਆਂ ਲੁਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਝੂਠ ਲਾਲਚ ਵਿਚ ਲੱਗਣ ਨਾਲ (ਸਿੱਟਾ ਇਹ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖ) ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲਾਲਚਿ = ਲਾਲਚ ਵਿਚ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੁਛ ਬੰਦਾ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਕੁਛ ਉਹ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੋ ਬੀਜਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਜੀਵ ਜੈਸੇ ਉਤਮ ਮੰਦ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ (ਖਾਵਣਾ) ਭੋਗਣਾ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ, (ਕਰਤੈ) ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਐਸੇ ਹੀ ਲਿਖ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ॥੧੫॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਕੁਝ (ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦਾ) ਬੀ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹੀ (ਫਲ) ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ (ਇਹ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉਤੇ) ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ॥੧੫॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਤੈ = ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ। ਲਿਖਿ = ਲਿਖ ਕੇ। ਪਾਇਆ = (ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ॥੧੫॥
