Sant Singh KhalsaWith my tongue, I chant the Lord's Name; with my ears, I listen to the Ambrosial Word of His Shabad.
Manmohan SinghWith my tongue, I utter the Lord's Name and with mine ears, I hear the Nectar. Name.

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਾਣੀ ਸੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਸਨਾ = ਜੀਭ। ਸਬਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਹ = ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਬਦ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਾਣੀ। ਸ੍ਰਵਣ = ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਨਾਨਕ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੋਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਵੰਞਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਮੈਂ ਤਿਨੋਂ ਪਰ ਸਦਾ ਬਲਿਹਾਰਨੇ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੂੰ ਜਿਨੋਂ ਕਾ ਮਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਮੇਂ ਧਿਆਨ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਤੇ ਜੋ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ (ਧਰਦੇ ਹਨ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਕੇ ਹਾਂ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਇਕ ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਭਿ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਕੂੜਾਵੇ = ਝੂਠੇ, ਵਿਅਰਥ, ਨਿਸਫਲ। ਸਾਈ = ਖਸਮ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਉਹੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
