Fareedkot Teeka(ਸਚੁ) ਨਿਸਚੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਤਿਸ ਸਚੇ (ਸਾਲਾਹੀ) ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਸਲਾਹੁਣਾ ਕਰੀਏ ਜੋ ਸਚਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ (ਨਿਰਾਲੇ) ਅਸੰਗ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮੇਰਾ ਚਿੱਤ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਜੋ ਨਿਰਾਲਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਸੱਚਾ ਹਰੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਸੱਚੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਕਰਾਂ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਸਦਾ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਭਦੀ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਵਹੁ ਮੁਖ ਸੇ ਅਸਤ ਬਿਅਸਤ ਬੋਲਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਜੈਸੇ ਮਦ ਪੀ ਕਰ ਮਤਵਾਲੇ ਬੋਲਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥☬ਗੁਰੂ ਅਮਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਪਾਸ ਕਿਸੀ ਨੇ ਗਉੜੀ ਰਾਗ ਮੇਂ ਖਿਆਲ ਗਾਵਿਆ। ਲੋਕੋਂ ਨੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਉਸਤਤੀ ਕਰੀ, ਤਿਸ ਪਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਲੁ ਪਤਾਲੁ = ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਪਤਾਲ, ਉੱਚਾ ਨੀਵਾਂ, ਬਕਵਾਸ। ਮਦਿ = ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ। ਮਤਵਾਲੇ = ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ, ਮਸਤ ॥੧੯॥
