Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਜੀਵ-ਵਣਜਾਰਾ (ਸਦਾ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਖੱਟੀ ਹੈ, ਇਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹੈ ਇਹੀ ਅਸਲ ਧਨ ਹੈ, (ਇਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਉਹ ਜੀਵ-ਵਣਜਾਰਾ (ਮਾਇਕ) ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲਾਭੁ = ਖੱਟੀ। ਨਿਧਿ = (ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ। ਬਿਖੈ ਮਾਹਿ = ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਅਲੇਪ = ਨਿਰਲੇਪ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਭੀ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਲਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਜੂਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਪਾਰ ਰਤਨ = ਬੇਅੰਤ ਕੀਮਤੀ। ਜੀਤਿਓ = ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ, ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਾਕਰੇ ਤੇ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ। ਬਹੁੜਿ = ਮੁੜ ਕੇ। ਨ ਪਾਇ = ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ॥੧॥
