Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਭੀ (ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਪੁੱਛਾਂ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਧ = {ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ} ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਸੰਤ ਜਨ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹੀ = ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ। ਪਾਇਆ = ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ। ਪੂਛਉ = ਪੂਛਉਂ, ਮੈਂ ਪੁੱਛਉਂ, ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮਨ! ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਨਾਮ-ਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ) ਬਹੁਤ ਸੋਭਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ;ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਸਾਇਣੁ = {ਰਸ-ਅਯਨ} ਰਸਾਂ ਦਾ ਘਰ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਰਸ। ਊਤਮ ਬਾਤਾ = ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸੋਭਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੂੜ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ। ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ (ਭੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ) ਚਰਨੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪੰਕ = ਚਰਨ-ਧੂੜ। ਚਰਨਿ = ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ (ਚਰਨੀਂ)। ਪਰਾਤਾ = ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੨॥
