Prof. Sahib Singhਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਮਨ ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਦੌੜਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਸਰਨ ਆਏ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਮਨ) ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ) ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਹਦਿਸ = ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ। ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਸਾਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਈ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਤਿ ਲਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਭ = ਸਾਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਮਿਲਣਾ ਭੀ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ, ਤੇ) ਜੋ ਲੇਖ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੧੨॥
