ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਤੁਰਥਿ = ਚੌਥੀ ਥਿਤਿ। ਸੁਣਿ = ਸੁਣ ਕੇ। ਸੋਧਿਓ = ਨਿਰਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤਤੁ = ਅਸਲ, ਨਚੋੜ। ਖੇਮ = ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਸੁਖ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਹੀ) ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚਾਰ (ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਲੱਭੀ) ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਿਧਿ = ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ। ਸਾਰੁ = ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ। ਜਪਿ = ਜਪ ਕੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਿਵਾਰੈ = ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਰੈ = ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੂਟਹਿ = ਟੁੱਟ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੀਚੁ = ਮੌਤ, ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ। ਹੁਟੈ = ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਥੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਤੇ = ਤੋਂ।
