Fareedkot Teekaਆਤਮ ਲਾਭ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਔਰ (ਤੋਟਾ) ਘਾਟਾ ਜੋ ਸ੍ਵਾਸੋਂ ਕੀ ਨਿਸਫਲਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਸਫਲ ਹੋਵੇਂਗੇ। ਔਰ ਹਰੀ ਕੀ ਦਰਗਾਹਿ ਮੇਂ ਪਤਿ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਵਾਧਾ ਹੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ) ਘਾਟ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੋਟਾ = (ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਰਹੀ) ਘਾਟ। ਹਿਰੈ = ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਤਿਵੰਤ = ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਵਾਲੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇਹੜਾ ਜੇਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਸਾਹੂਕਾਰ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ,

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਚਵੈ = ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸਾਚ = ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ। ਭਗਵੰਤ = ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤੀਨ ਜੋ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਤ, ਸੁਪਨ, ਸਖੋਪਤ, ਏਹੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਜੀਵ ਇਨ੍ਹੋਂ ਕੇ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹੈਂ, ਵਾ ਬੁਧੀ ਕੀਆਂ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀਆਂ ਸਤੋ, ਰਜੋ, ਤਮੋ। ਜੋ (ਤੁਰੀਆ) ਚਉਥਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਇਨ ਤੀਨੋਂ ਕੇ ਜਾਨਣੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਕੋਈ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਹੀ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ। ਯਦਪਿ ਸਾਖੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ, ਤੋ ਭੀ ਭ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਕਰ ਅਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਨਯਾਈਂ ਹੋ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਗਤ (ਦੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ) ਉਤੇ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਹ ਚੌਥੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੀਨਿ = (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ) ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣ (ਰਜੋ, ਤਮੋ, ਸਤੋ)। ਬਿਆਪਹਿ = ਜ਼ੋਰ ਪਾਈ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ। ਤੁਰੀਆ = {तृरीय, तुर्य} ਚੌਥੀ। ਵੇਦਾਂਤ ਫ਼ਿਲਾਸਫ਼ੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਚੌਥੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ-ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕੋਇ = ਕੋਈ ਵਿਰਲਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਹੇਠ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ-ਵਿਕਾਰ-ਰੂਪ ਫਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਕਦੇ ਕੋਈ (ਥੋੜੇ ਚਿਰ ਲਈ) ਚੰਗੀ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਦੇ ਨੀਵੀਂ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਿਚ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤ੍ਰਿਤੀਆ = ਤੀਜੀ ਥਿਤਿ। ਬਿਖੈ ਫਲ = ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਲ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਰਕ ਸੁਰਗ (ਦੁੱਖ ਸੁਖ ਭੋਗਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ) ਬਹੁਤ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਲੱਗੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਮ ਸਦਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭ੍ਰਮਤਉ = ਭਟਕਣਾ। ਘਣੋ = ਬਹੁਤ ਜੀਵ। ਸੰਘਾਰੈ = ਮਾਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਮੌਤ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮੀਚੁ = ਮੌਤ, ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਸਹਮ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ) ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਤਦੀ ਹੈ, ਕਦੇ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਕਦੇ ਗ਼ਮੀ ਕਦੇ ਸਹਮ-ਇਹ ਚੱਕਰ (ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਸਦਾ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ)।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਨਿ = ਜਿਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਨੇ। ਤਿਸਹਿ = ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ। ਜਾਣਨੀ = ਜਾਣਨਿ, ਜਾਣਦੇ, ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦੇ। ਉਪਾਇ = ਢੰਗ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਚਨਹਾਰੁ = ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰ ਕਰਤਾਰ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਬੀਚਾਰਿ = ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ। ਬਿਬੇਕ = ਪਰਖ (ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ)।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਖਟ = ਛੇ। ਖਟ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ = (ਸਾਂਖ, ਯੋਗ, ਨਿਆਇ, ਵੈਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਿਕ, ਮੀਮਾਂਸਾ, ਵੇਦਾਂਤ)। ਪਾਰਾਵਾਰ = ਪਾਰ ਅਵਾਰ, ਪਾਰਲਾ ਉਰਲਾ ਬੰਨਾ।
