Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖੇ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ) ਦਰਸਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਰੱਜ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨੈਣ = ਅੱਖਾਂ। ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਾਸੇ = ਰੱਜ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। ਦੇਖਿ = ਵੇਖ ਕੇ। ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਕਰ = (ਆਪਣੇ) ਹੱਥ {ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ}। ਮੇਰੈ ਮਾਥੇ = ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਉੱਤੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- ਮੈਂ ਇਤਨਾ ਸੁਖ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਤੋਲਿਆ-ਮਿਣਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਜੰਮਣ ਮਰਨ ਦੇ ਭੀ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ ਲਹਿ ਗਏ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੨੦॥੪੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਤੁਲ = ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੋਲਿਆ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ। ਭੈ = ਸਾਰੇ ਡਰ {ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ} ॥੨॥੨੦॥੪੩॥
