Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ (ਉੱਠ ਕੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਿਆ ਕਰ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਲਿ = ਸਮੇ ਵਿਚ। ਪ੍ਰਾਤਹ = ਪ੍ਰਭਾਤ, ਸਵੇਰ। ਪ੍ਰਾਤਹ ਕਾਲਿ = ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ। ਉਚਾਰੀ = ਉਚਾਰਿ, ਉਚਾਰਿਆ ਕਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ) ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਨਿਰਮੋਹ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਤੂੰ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ) ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਏਂਗਾ ॥੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੀਵਤ ਮਰਤ = ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ, ਨਿਰਮੋਹ ਰਿਹਾਂ। ਪਾਵਹਿ = ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲਏਂਗਾ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ-ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਿਆ ਕਰ, (ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਐਸਾ ਧਨ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ) ਜਿਸ ਧਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਦੇ ਘਾਟਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੈਂਦਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਹੁ = ਸ਼ਾਹ, ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ। ਸੇਵਿ = ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆ ਰਹੁ। ਜਿਤੁ = ਜਿਸ (ਧਨ) ਵਿਚ। ਤੋਟਿ = ਘਾਟਾ।
