ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਨ ਕਰਾਵਨ = ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਕਰਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ = ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਨੂੰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨ ਛੁੰਹਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਡਰ ਮਿਟ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਮਤਾਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ! ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ (ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਟਾਕਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ) ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁਖ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਜ = ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ। ਘਨੇਰੇ = ਬਹੁਤ। ਦਿਲਾਸਾ = ਹੌਸਲਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਜੀਵਨ-ਖੇਡ) ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ) ਸੋਭਾ ਖੱਟ ਕੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ-ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੀ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਆਸ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੩॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਣਿ = ਜਿੱਤ ਕੇ {ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਜਿਣਿ ਅਤੇ 'ਜਿਨਿ' ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ}। ਸੇਤੀ = ਨਾਲ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇਹੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੋਈ ਉਕਾਈ ਖਾਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਚ ਉਕਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜੇਹੜਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੇ) ਆਹਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਤਿ = ਅਕਲ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ। ਪੂਰੀ = ਉਕਾਈ-ਹੀਣ। ਜਾ ਕੀ = ਜਿਸ (ਗੁਰੂ) ਦੀ।
