ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਕ ਕੰਠਿ = ਅੱਕ ਦੇ ਗਲ ਨਾਲ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਬ (ਬਿਰਹ) ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਲ ਕਾ (ਧਣੀ) ਮਾਲਕ ਆਕ ਸੇ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤਬ (ਸਹਸੈ ਗੰਠਿ) ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬੇ ਹੋ ਕਰ ਉਡਤੇ ਫਿਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥☬ਦ੍ਰਾਸਟਾਂਤ- ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਜੀਵ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਅਭੇਦ ਹੂਆ ਹੂਆ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਵਤਾ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਨਿਆਰਾ ਹੂਆ ਹੂਆ ਦੇਹੋਂ ਰੂਪੀ ਗੰਠੋਂ ਕੋ ਪਾਇ ਕਰ ਚਉਰਾਸੀ ਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਮਾਲਕ (ਅੱਕ) ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਵਿਜੋਗ ਵਿਛੋੜਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਤੂੰਬੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਰਹ = ਵਿਜੋਗ। ਧਣੀ ਸਿਉ = ਮਾਲਕ ਨਾਲੋਂ। ਸਹਸੈ = ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ। ਗੰਠਿ = ਗੰਢਾਂ, ਤੂੰਬੇ ॥੧॥
* ਨੋਟ: ਜਿਵੇਂ ਅੱਕ ਦੀ ਡਾਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਅੱਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੱਕੜੀਆਂ ਤੂੰਬੇ ਤੂੰਬੇ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉੱਡਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਫ਼ਿਕਰ ਭਟਕਾਉਂਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
