Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹੇ ਭਾਈ ਜਨੋਂ! ਸਭ ਕਿਛੁ ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਵਸ ਹੋਇ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਹਰੀ ਸਲਾਹਣਾ ਕਰੀਏ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਹਰੇਕ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਦਾ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਵਸਿ = ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਧਾਰੀ ਲੋਕੋ! ਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਸੇਵਨ ਕਰੋ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤਿਸ ਸੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਔਰ ਕੋਈ ਸੇਵਨੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ; ਹੇ ਬੰਦਿਓ! ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਰੋ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਰੇਵਿਹੁ = ਸਿਮਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ।

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ; ਤਾਂ ਸਦਾ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ ॥

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜੇਕਰ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਦਇਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ, ਸਾਈਂ ਹਰੀ ਚਿੱਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕ ਜਾਵੇ, ਤਦ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ, ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਰਾਮ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜੇ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹਰੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਤਾਂ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੁਖ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਤੌਖ਼ਲਾ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ, ਸਾਰੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਮਨ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਸਾ = ਤੌਖ਼ਲਾ। ਮੂਲਿ ਨ = ਬਿਲਕੁਲ ਨਹੀਂ। ਹੋਵਈ = ਹੋਵੈ; ਹੁੰਦਾ।

ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਹੋਇ. ਸੁ ਸਹਜੇ ਹੋਇ; ਕਹਣਾ ਕਿਛੂ. ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਕੁਝ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਵਰਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਇਤਰਾਜ਼ (ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਜੈ = ਰਜ਼ਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਸਦਾ-ਥਿਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਆ ਵੱਸੇ ਤਾਂ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਚਿਤਵਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ (ਹਰੇਕ) ਫਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਿੰਦਿਆ = ਚਿਤਵਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜਿਨ ਕੋ (ਪੰਨੈ) ਪਤ੍ਰੇ, ਭਾਵ ਦਫਤਰ ਮੇਂ ਪਾਇ ਲੀਆ ਹੈ, ਕਿੰਤੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਗਤੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਲਿਖ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ, ਤਿਨ ਕਾ ਕਹਾ ਹੂਆ ਆਪ ਸੁਣ ਲੇਤਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਗਹੁ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਲਇਅਨੁ = ਲਏ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ। ਪੰਨੈ = ਲੇਖੇ ਵਿਚ। ਜਿ = ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ॥੧॥
