ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੀ = ਭੈਣ! {ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਲਿੰਗ}। ਗੁਣਨਿਧਿ = ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਮੰਗਲ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ, ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿੰਦ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਉਹ) ਭਲੇ ਸਬਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੋਹਣੇ ਸਮੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ (ਕੋਈ ਜਿੰਦ) ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਕਰ ਲਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਜੋਗ = ਮਿਲਾਪ ਦੇ ਸਬਬ। ਅਉਸਰ = ਸਮਾ। ਜਉ = ਜਦੋਂ। ਗੋਪਾਲੁ = ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਪਾਲਣਹਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ। ਰੀਝਾਇਓ = ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
