Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ (ਜੀਵ-) ਪਪੀਹੇ ਨੇ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਸਮਝਿਆ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਾਬੀਹੈ = ਬਬੀਹੇ ਨੇ। ਬਾਬੀਹੇ = ਬਬੀਹੇ ਦੀ (ਨੋਟ: ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ਾਂ ਤੇ 'ਜੋੜ' ਤੇ 'ਅਰਥ' ਵਿਚ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਵੇਖਣ-ਯੋਗ ਹੈ)। ਸਹਜਿ = ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ। ਗੁਰ ਕੈ ਸੁਭਾਇ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ-) ਬੱਦਲ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਲੰਮੀ ਝੜੀ ਲਾ ਕੇ (ਉਸ ਉਤੇ 'ਨਾਮ'-ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਦੀ) ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਛਹਬਰ = ਝੜੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਹਿ ਗਈ = ਮੁੱਕ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿ = ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਸਮਾਇ = ਸੰਬਾਹਿ, ਅਪੜਾ ਕੇ, ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ।ੂ ॥੧॥
