ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ = ਨਿਰ-ਅੰਜਨੁ {ਅੰਜਨੁ = ਕਾਲਖ, ਮਾਇਆ} ਮਾਇਆ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਲੇਪ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ, ਸਭ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, (ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਉਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਣ = ਰਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਗਤ। ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ = ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਇਕ ਪਲਕ ਵਿਚ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਪੈਂਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ (ਉਸ ਵਰਗਾ) ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਖਿਨੁ = ਪਲ, ਰਤਾ ਕੁ ਸਮਾ। ਥਾਪਿ = ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਉਥਾਪਦਾ = ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਖੰਡ = ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਟੋਟੇ, ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਦੇਸ। ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ = ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ। ਦੀਪ = ਜਜ਼ੀਰੇ। ਲੋਈ = ਜਗਤ, ਲੋਕ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ (ਇਹ) ਸਮਝ ਆਪ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
