Sant Singh KhalsaPrincely pleasures are not sweet; sensual enjoyments are not sweet; the pleasures of Maya are not sweet.

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! (ਚ) ਪੁਨਾ ਰਾਜ ਕਾ ਸੁਖ ਭੀ ਮਿਠਾ (ਨ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਰਸੋਂ ਕਾ ਭੋਗ ਭੀ ਮਿਠਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਮਾਯਾ ਕਾ ਸੁਖ ਭੀ ਮਿਠਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਸੁਖ, ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਭੋਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਸਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹ ਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੌਜਾਂ-ਇਹ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਸੁਆਦਲੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚ = ਅਤੇ। ਨ ਚ = ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ। ਮਿਸਟ = ਮਿੱਠਾ। ਰਸ = ਸੁਆਦ, ਚਸਕੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਸਤਸੰਗ ਵਿਚੋਂ (ਮਿਲਿਆ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਿ = ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਵਿਚ। ਦਾਸ ਮਿਸਟੰ = ਦਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿੱਠਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪ੍ਰਭ ਦਰਸਨੰ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਦੀਦਾਰ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਿਆਰ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਏ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਮਨ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ) ਰੰਗਿਆ ਜਾਏ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨੇਹੁ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ। ਮਝਾਹੂ = ਅੰਦਰੋਂ। ਰਤਿਆ = ਰੰਗਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ ਪਦਾਰਥ (ਭਾਵ, ਮੋਤੀ) ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਾ ਜਾਏ, ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
