Sant Singh KhalsaThe egotistical, self-willed manmukh does not know the Mansion of the Lord's Presence; one moment he is here, and the next moment he is there.

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਮਗਰੂਰ ਅਧਰਮੀ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ। ਉਹ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਇਧਰ ਜਾ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਉਧਰ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਮਨਮੁਖ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ (ਮਹਲਿ) ਸਤਸੰਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਜਿਸ ਖਿਨ ਮੇਂ ਕੁਛ ਲਾਭ ਦੇਖਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਤਬ ਆਗੇ ਹੋਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਜਬ ਅਲਾਭ ਦੇਖਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਉਸ ਖਿਨ ਮੇਂ ਪੀਛੇ ਹਟਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਮੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਮਨਮੁਖ (ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ) ਨਿਵਾਸ-ਅਸਥਾਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਸਤਸੰਗ) ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਛਾਣਦਾ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਜਕੋ-ਤੱਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਘੜੀ ਤੋਲਾ ਘੜੀ ਮਾਸਾ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਖਿਨੁ = ਪਲਕ ਵਿਚ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੱਦੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਕਚਹਿਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹੋਏਗਾ?
Fareedkot Teekaਸਦੀਵਕਾਲ ਬੁਲਾਈਤੇ ਹੈਂ (ਮਹਲਿ) ਸਤਸੰਗ ਮੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵਤੇ, ਯਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਿਸ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਹਰੀ ਕੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਮੇਂ (ਸਿਝੈ) ਮੁਕਤੀ ਪਾਵੈਂਗੇ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਸਦਾ ਸੱਦਦੇ ਰਹੀਏ ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਉਹ ਸਤਸੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ (ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਉਹ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਸੁਰਖ਼ਰੂ ਹੋਵੇ? (ਭਾਵ, ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ)!

Prof. Sahib Singhਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਣੇ ਦੀ (ਭਾਵ, ਸਤਸੰਗ ਦੀ) ਕਿਸੇ ਉਸ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜੀ ਰੱਖੇ (ਭਾਵ, ਮਨ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਹੇ)।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰ = ਹੱਥ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਜੇ ਕਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਰੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੇ ਤੌ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਕੀ ਤਰਫੋਂ (ਬਹੋੜਿ) ਮੋੜ ਲੇਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੇ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ (ਮਨਮੁਖਤਾ ਵਲੋਂ) ਮੋੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
