Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਹਰਿ! ਤੁਮਾਰੇ ਸੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਯਹ ਜੀਵ ਰਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕੈਸੇ? ਜੈਸੇ ਬਾਲਕ (ਖੀਰ) ਦੂਧ ਅਧਾਰੀ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਦੂਧ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਤਾ ਹੈ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੀਅਰਾ = ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਜਿੰਦ। ਖੀਰ = ਦੁੱਧ। ਅਧਾਰ = ਆਸਰਾ। ਖੀਰ ਅਧਾਰੀ = ਖੀਰ ਅਧਾਰਿ, ਦੁੱਧ ਦੇ ਸਹਾਰੇ ਤੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਗਮ = ਅਪਹੁੰਚ। ਅਗੋਚਰ = {ਅ-ਗੋ-ਚਰ} ਜਿਸ ਤਕ ਗਿਆਨ-ਇੰਦ੍ਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ। ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਵਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਪਿਆਂ। ਕੈ = ਤੋਂ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹਰਿ ਬਿਨ ਔਰ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਂਗਤਾ ਹੂੰ, ਨਾਮ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਮੇਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ (ਪਿਆਰੀ) ਬਨੀ ਰਹੈ। ਕ੍ਯਾ ਬਿਸੇਖ ਬਨੀ ਰਹੈ? ਵਾ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਰਸ ਕੋ ਅਨੰਦ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਭੋਗੇ ਅਰੁ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਮੇਂ ਬਾਣੀ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਹੇ ਅਰੁ ਸਰੀਰ ਕਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਪ੍ਯਾਰੀ ਲਗੇ॥੮॥੧॥੭॥☬ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੋ ਸਰਬ ਰੂਪਤਾ ਕਰ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
