Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਜੀਊਂਦਿਆਂ (ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਿਆ, ਤੇ ਮਰਨ ਵੇਲੇ ਭੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ ਰਿਹਾ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰੰਗਿ = ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿਚ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰੂਪ ਅਮੋਲਕ ਚੀਜ਼ (ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੁੜ੍ਹਨੋਂ) ਬਚਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ = ਕੀਮਤੀ ਚੀਜ਼, ਅਮੋਲਕ ਸ਼ੈ ॥੨॥
