ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਰਸਕਾਰ = ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ (तिरस्कारः)। ਭਵੰਤਿ = ਹੁੰਦਾ (भवति, भवनः, भवन्ति। भु = to become)। ਮਾਨ ਭੰਗਨਹ = ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ, ਅਪਮਾਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਪੰਤਿ = (जपन्ति) ਜਪਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮਿਲਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਸੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ = ਉਹ ਬੰਦੇ ॥੨੮॥
* ਭਾਵ: ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਉਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦੀ, ਕੋਈ ਦੁੱਖ-ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਆਪਣਾ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ।
