Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੋਕ ਫੱਕੜੀ ਵਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ (ਜਿਥੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਮੁਕਾਲਖ ਖੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹੋਂ ਨਿਰਾ ਬਕਵਾਸ ਹੀ ਨਿਕਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਰਲੁ ਬਰਲੁ = ਬਕਵਾਸ। ਝਗੂ ਸੁਟਦਾ = (ਭਾਵ) ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਕਿਸੇ ਜਣੇ ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬਲੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ, ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਐਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਲਿਖ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਕਿਸੇ ਦੇ ਭੀ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ (ਭਾਵ, ਕੋਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਮੱਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ), ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮੁੱਢ ਤੋਂ (ਕੀਤੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੁਣ ਭੀ) ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ (ਭਾਵ, ਨਿੰਦਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਦੀ) ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਿਰਤੁ = ਪਿਛਲੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਮਾਈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ (ਮਨਮੁਖ) ਜਿਥੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਹੀ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨੋਂ! ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਵੇਖੋ, ਕਿ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਈ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਫਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

Fareedkot Teekaਏਹੁ ਵੇਦ ਕਾ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਜੋ ਸਚੇ ਕੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਸੋ ਆਗੇ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਜਨ ਕਹਿ ਕਰ ਸੁਨਾਵਤਾ ਹੂੰ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਗੁਰ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਲੋਕੋਂ ਮੇਂ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥੨॥☬ਕਿਸੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੇ ਪੂਛਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਕਬ ਸੇ ਬਾਂਧਾ ਹੈ? ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਇ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਇਹ ਸੱਚੀ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸੱਚੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਖ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ (ਤਾਂ ਜੁ ਭਲਾ ਬੀਜ ਬੀਜ ਕੇ ਭਲੇ ਫਲ ਦੀ ਆਸ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ) ॥੨॥
