Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਨੁ ਭੇਟੇ = ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਤਮੋ ਗੁਣ ਵਿਚ ਮਸਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸਦਾ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ (ਤਮੋ ਗੁਣ ਵਿਚ) ਸੜਦਿਆਂ (ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ) ਗੁਜ਼ਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਾਮਸਿ = ਤਮੋਗੁਣੀ ਭਾਵ ਵਿਚ। ਅਹਿ = ਦਿਨ। ਨਿਸਿ = ਰਾਤ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋ ਤਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੋ ਭਾਉਤਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸਮੇਂ ਕਿਸੀ ਸੇ ਕੁਛ ਕਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤਾ। ਭਾਵ ਯਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਸੇ ਭਿੰਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਫਿਰ ਕਿਸ ਕੋ ਦੋਸ ਦੀਜੀਏ॥੧॥☬ਜੇ ਕਹੈ ਅੰਧਪਣਾ ਕੈਸੇ ਜਾਵੇ? ਸੋ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਸ ਬਾਰੇ) ਕੁਝ ਆਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ, ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੧॥
