Prof. Sahib Singhਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ, ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ, ਆਚਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਰੱਖਣਾ-ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਬਣਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੁ = (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਕਾ ਟਿਕਾਣਾ। ਦਾਨੁ = ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ। ਇਸਨਾਨੁ = ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਆਚਰਨ। ਸੁਚਾਰੀ = ਚੰਗੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ॥੩॥
