Sant Singh KhalsaHearing the teachings, he does not appreciate them, as long as he is not Gurmukh, attached to the Word of the Shabad.
Manmohan SinghHearing the instruction, man, relishes it not, so long as he is not attached to the Gurbani, through the Guru.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਝਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੁਆਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ, ਜਦ ਤਾਂਈਂ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁੜ ਨਾਂ ਜਾਵੇ।
Fareedkot Teeka(ਜਿਚਰੁ) ਜਬ ਤਕ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕਰ ਸਬਦ ਕੇ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਮੇਂ ਨ ਲਗੈ ਤਬ ਤਕ ਸੁਨ ਕਰ ਬਾਤਾਂ ਸੀਖ ਲੇਨੇ ਸੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਦ ਕਿਸੀ ਕੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦ ਤਾਈਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਵਿਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਤਦ ਤਾਈਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨਿਰੀ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਂਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਦੱਸੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਭਰਮ ਤੇ ਡਰ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Sant Singh KhalsaAs he knows the True Guru, so he is transformed, and then, he lovingly focuses his consciousness on the Naam.
Manmohan SinghAs the mortal deems the true Guru to be, so becomes he and then alone he comes to enshrine affection for the True Name.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਸੱਚੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਦ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਸਤਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੌ ਜੈਸਾ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਜਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਬ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਤੈਸਾ ਹੋਵੈ, ਤਬ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਮੀ ਮੇਂ ਬਿਰਤੀ ਲਗਤੀ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਆਪ ਬਣ ਜਾਏ (ਭਾਵ, ਜਦੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਣ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰੇ) ਤਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਦੀ ਹੈ।
SikhNet (Spanish)el Naam es enriquecido en la mente, y así uno se libera del miedo y de la duda. Si uno conoce al Guru, se vuelve como Él y se entona en el Nombre Verdadero.

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਏਥੇ ਆਦਰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਰੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਦੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਸੋਭਾ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
