ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਉਣ = ਹਵਾ, ਸੁਆਸ। ਪਉਣ ਸੁਮਾਰੀ = ਸੁਆਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਯਾਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ। ਪਉਣ ਸੁਮਾਰਿ = ਸੁਆਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਣਨ ਵਿਚ, ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਯਾਮ ਵਿਚ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੀਵੈ = ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਭਾਵ,) ਰਾਖਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਜੀਵ ਠੱਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੁਠੇ ਜਾਹਿ = ਠੱਗੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕੋਇ = ਜੋ ਕੋਈ, ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ॥੨॥
