Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਪੀਹਾ (ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ) ਮੀਂਹ ਦਾ ਵੱਸਣਾ ਚਿਤਵਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਵਰਖਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ),ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਾਤ੍ਰਿਕ = ਪਪੀਹਾ। ਚਿਤਵਤ = ਚਿਤਾਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਰਸਤ ਮੇਂਹ = (ਕਿ) ਮੀਂਹ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ, ਮੀਂਹ ਦਾ ਵਰ੍ਹਨਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਚਕਵੀ (ਹੋਰ) ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁਖ (ਭੀ) ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਗਦੀ, ਸੂਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਨੰਦ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚਾਹਤ = ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ। ਅਨਦ = ਆਨੰਦ, ਸੁਖ। ਪੇਖਿ = ਵੇਖ ਕੇ। ਦੇਂਹ = ਦਿਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਉਪਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭੀ ਮੱਛੀ ਜੀਊਂਦੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੀ, ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਨ = {अन्य} ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ। ਮੀਨਾ = ਮੱਛੀ। ਤੇਂਹ = ਉਸ ਦਾ। ਮਰਨਾ = ਮੌਤ ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹਮ ਤੋ ਆਪ ਕੇ ਹੀ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਅਰਾਧਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਔਰ ਕੋਈ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਵਾ ਰਖਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਸੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹ ਸਕਤੇ॥੨॥੬॥੧੦॥☬ਪੁਨਾ ਵਹੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਜਨਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
