Prof. Sahib Singh(ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਏ ਤੇ ਆਖੇ-) 'ਹੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ! ਤੇਰੇ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਰੂਪ ਹਨ' ॥੪॥੧॥* ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਭਾਵ: ਕੇਵਲ ਇਕ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰੋ। ਹੋਰ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ-ਯਾਦ ਦੀ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੀ। ਭਗਤ-ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਸੱਜਣ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਉਂ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ-'ਉਕਤ ਰਚਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਉਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਿਰਗੁਣ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੈ। ਅਸਲੋਂ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਵੇਦਾਂਤ ਮਤ।' ਹਰ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਰੋਧਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
