Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਇਸ ਯੁੱਗ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਾਧੂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਦੀ ਖੱਟੀ ਖੱਟਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕੀਂ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਇਸ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਚ (ਸਿਰਫ਼) ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ (ਹੀ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਧਨ ਖੱਟਿਆ ਹੈ, ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੀ) ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈ ਕੇ, ਸਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ) ਖੁੰਝਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ = ਇਸ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ। ਭਗਤੀ = ਭਗਤੀਂ, ਭਗਤਾਂ ਨੇ। ਸਭੁ = ਸਾਰਾ। ਭਰਮਿ = ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ (ਪੈ ਕੇ)। ਭੁਲਾਇਆ = ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਆ ਵੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ = ਪਰਸਾਦਿ, ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ। ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਅਨਦਿਨੁ = ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਿਖਿਆ = ਮਾਇਆ। ਉਦਾਸ = ਉਪਰਾਮ, ਨਿਰਲੇਪ। ਸਬਦਿ = ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਉਧਰੇ = ਬਚ ਗਏ। ਜਣੇਦੀ ਮਾਇਆ = ਜੰਮਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਾਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੁਲੇ = ਗ਼ਲਤੀ ਖਾ ਗਏ। ਪੜਿ = ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ। ਮੋਨੀ = ਸਮਾਧੀਆਂ ਲਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ। ਦੂਜੈ ਭਾਇ = ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ।

Fareedkot Teekaਜੋਗੀ ਔਰ ਜੰਗਮ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਸਰਬ ਭੇਖੋਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਮੇਂ ਭੂਲੇ ਹੂਏ ਹੈਂ। ਬਿਨਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਸੇ ਤਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਤਤ ਸਰੂਪ ਕੋ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਨੇਸਟੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੰਗਮ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਭੀ ਕੁਰਾਹੇ ਪਏ ਰਹੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਭੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਵਸਤ ਨਾਹ ਲੱਭੀ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜੰਗਮ = ਸ਼ੈਵ ਮਤ ਦੇ ਰਮਤੇ। ਤਤੁ = ਅਸਲ ਚੀਜ਼।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਤੁਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਦਾ ਦੁਖੀ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ, ਭਟਕਣਾ ਵਿਚ ਪੈ ਕੇ ਸਹੀ ਜੀਵਨ-ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝੇ ਹੀ ਰਹੇ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਨਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਹੀ ਗਵਾਇਆ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਮਿ = ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ। ਰਤੇ = ਰੱਤੇ, ਰੰਗੇ ਹੋਏ। ਸਮਧੇ = ਸਮਾਧੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਹੋਏ, ਪੂਰਨ ਅਵਸਥਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਣੇ। ਜਿ = ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਬਖਸਿ = ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਸ਼ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ॥੧॥
