Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ = ਖ਼ਾਸ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ। ਤੁਠਾ = ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਲੇ ਚੰਗੇ ਭਾਗ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨਾਲ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਪਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਿਸ ਕੀ = ਜਿਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਦੀ। ਬਾਣੀ = ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ, ਸਿਫ਼ਤਿ-ਸਾਲਾਹ। ਤਿਸੁ ਮਾਹਿ = ਉਸ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ) ਵਿਚ {ਨੋਟ: ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਕੀ' ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ 'ਜਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਲੋਪ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਮਾਹਿ' ਇਹ ਅਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਵੇਖੋ 'ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਵਿਆਕਰਣ'}।
