Fareedkot Teekaਕ੍ਯੋਂਕਿ ਜੋ ਪਤੀ ਸੇ ਬੇਮੁਖ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਹੈ, ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਪਤੀ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਮੇਂ (ਢੋਈ) ਸਮੀਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਤੀ। ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਜੀਵ! ਯੱਦਪਿ ਮਾਇਕੀ ਬਿਵਹਾਰੋਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਾਨ ਭੀ ਹੈ, ਤੱਦਪਿ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸੇ ਬੇਮੁਖਤਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ, ਦੁਹਾਗਣੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਵਤ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਮੇਂ ਝੂਠ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖੁਆਰੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਔਰੁ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੌ ਮਾਨ ਨਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਬੇਮੁਖਤਾ ਕੋ ਛੋਡ ਦੇਹ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥☬ਅਬ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਾਨ ਕੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਟਾਂਤ ਸੇ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੋਲਿ = ਮੁੱਲ ਦੇ ਕੇ, ਮੁੱਲ ਨਾਲ। ਅਣਾਇਆ = ਮੰਗਾਇਆ। ਕੁੰਗੂ = ਕੇਸਰ। ਮਾਂਗ = ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਚੀਰ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ (ਫਿਰ ਭੀ) ਚੰਗੀ ਨ ਲੱਗੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਉੱਦਮ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਗਏ (ਇਹੀ ਹਾਲ ਜੀਵ-ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਤੀ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿਖਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਉੱਦਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੀਝਦਾ) ॥੪॥
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੰਤ ਨ ਭਾਵਈ = ਕੰਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀ ਨ ਲੱਗੀ। ਸਭਿ = ਸਾਰੇ॥੪॥
