Prof. Sahib Singhਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਪਾਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਧਨ ਹੈ ਨਾਮ ਹੀ ਸਰਮਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈ ਕੇ (ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਹੀ) ਵਣਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਦਾ ਨਾਮ-ਰੂਪ) ਧਨ। ਰਾਸਿ = ਸਰਮਾਇਆ, ਪੂੰਜੀ। ਗੁਰ ਪੂਛਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈ ਕੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਬਿਬ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੋ ਕਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋਈ ਏਕ ਜੀਵ ਔਰੁ ਏਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਹੈ, ਤਿਨ ਦੋਨੋਂ ਕੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਕਾ ਜੋ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਜਿਸੁ ਪੁਰਸ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਨ ਮੇਂ ਹੈ, ਵਾ ਜਿਸ ਕੇ ਅੰਤਹਕਰਨ ਮੇਂ (ਬਿਬੇਕ) ਸੱਤਾਸੱਤ ਕਾ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਭਗਤੁ ਗ੍ਯਾਨੀ ਪੁਰਸੁ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਰਲਾਇਆ ਹੂਆ ਕਬੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਲਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਵ ਏਹਿ ਕਿ ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਮੇਂ ਕਮਲੁ ਅਸੰਗ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ, ਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਵਹੁ ਅਸੰਗ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ (ਖੋਟੇ ਖਰੇ ਦੇ) ਪਰਖਣ ਦੀ ਸੂਝ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ (ਪਖੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿਚ) ਰਲਾਇਆਂ ਰਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ॥੨॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਉਪੇ = ਭੇਟਾ ਕਰੇ। ਵਿਚਹੁ = (ਆਪਣੇ) ਅੰਦਰੋਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧਨੁ = ਭਾਗਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ। ਜੇ = ਜੇਹੜਾ {❀ ਨੋਟ: ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਜਿ' ਅਤੇ 'ਜੇ' ਵਿਚ ਫ਼ਰਕ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖਣ ਜੋਗ ਹੈ}॥੩॥
