Prof. Sahib Singh(ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਆਪਣੇ) ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਠਾਕਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ ਅਸਥਾਪਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਘਰਿ = ਘਰ ਵਿਚ। ਨਾਰਾਇਣੁ = ਠਾਕੁਰ ਦੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ। ਸਭਾ ਨਾਲਿ = ਹੋਰ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਾਂ ਤੇ (ਅੰਧੀ ਕੰਮੀ) ਅਗਿਆਤ ਕਰਮੋਂ ਸੇ ਅੰਧੇ ਜੀਵ ਕੋ ਸਜਾਇ ਮਿਲਤੀ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਰਹਿਤ ਲੋਕ ਠਗਣੇ ਅਰਥ ਪੂਜਾ ਭੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਮੰਦ ਹੀ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ (ਇਹੀ) ਸਜ਼ਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਹੋਰ ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਵਧਦੀ ਜਾਏ,
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅੰਧੀ ਕੰਮੀ = ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅੰਧ = ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ, ਹਨੇਰਾ। ਸਜਾਇ = ਦੰਡ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮੂਰਖ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਮੂਰਤੀ) ਨਾਹ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਦੇ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਨਾਹ (ਭੁੱਖ-ਮਰਦੇ ਨੂੰ) ਮਰਨੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਨ ਦੇਇ = ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਂਦਾ। ਰਖੈ = ਬਚਾਂਦਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਫਿਰ ਭੀ ਮੂਰਤੀ-ਪੂਜਕ) ਅਗਿਆਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਇਹ ਲੰਮਾ ਗੇੜ ਤੁਰਿਆ ਹੀ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਭਾਵ, ਫਿਰ ਭੀ ਲੋਕ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਮੀਟ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਮੂਰਤੀ-ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ) ॥੧॥
