Fareedkot Teeka(ਅਖੀ ਪਰਣੈ) ਨੇਤ੍ਰੋਂ ਕੇ ਪਰਨੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਨੀਚੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ ਫਿਰਨੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਾ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਖਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ, ਤਿਨ ਸੇ ਭੀ ਪੂਛੋ ਔਰ (ਸਭੁ ਆਕਾਰੁ) ਜੋ ਸਭ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਮਾਤਰ ਕੇ ਦੇਖਨੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਹੈਂ, ਤਿਨ ਸੇ ਭੀ ਪੂਛੋ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਪੁੱਛਾਂ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੁੱਛਾਂ ਜੋ ਬੜੇ ਬੜੇ ਸੂਰਮੇ ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਾਣਸਾਂ = ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ। ਕਰਹਿ ਅਵਤਾਰ = ਜੰਮਦੇ ਹਨ, ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋਧ = ਸੂਰਮੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਪੁਨਹ ਸਿਧ ਜੋ ਹੈਂ ਸਮਾਧੀ ਲਗਾਉਣੇ ਵਾਲੇ, ਜੋਗੀ ਜੋ ਹੈਂ ਸਭ ਸੇ ਪੂਛ ਕਰ ਉਨ ਕੇ ਵਾਕ ਭੀ ਸੁਣੋਂ ਔਰ ਜਾਇ ਕਰ (ਦਰਬਾਰੁ) ਸਤਿਸੰਗ ਭੀ ਦੇਖੋ। ਇਨ ਸਭ ਸੇ ਜਾਇ ਕਰ ਇਹ ਬਾਤ ਪੂਛੋ ਕਿ ਆਗੇ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਮੇਂ ਜੀਉ ਸਚਾ ਕੈਸੇ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੋ ਪਾਇ ਕਰ ਪਾਰ ਕੈਸੇ ਉਤਰਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਕੈਸੇ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ? ਸੋ ਸਭੀ ਏਹੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ:

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੁਣੀ = ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣਾਂ। ਦਰਬਾਰੁ = ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਤਦ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਲਗੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਚਾ, ਨਿਧੜਕ, ਡਰ-ਰਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੇਸ਼ਟ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੇਵਲ ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਪਰਵਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਅਗੈ ਜੀਉ ਸਚ ਨਾਮ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਚਾ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਅਰ (ਭੈ ਵਿਣੁ) ਭੈ ਰਹਿਤ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ (ਸਾਰੁ) ਸੰਭਾਲਣੇ ਕਰ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਉੱਦਮਾਂ ਦੇ) ਸਾਹਮਣੇ (ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਮੱਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਜੋ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ ਡਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਹੈ, ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ;
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਇ = ਸੱਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ, ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਾਲ। ਭੈ ਵਿਣੁ = ਡਰ-ਰਹਿਤ। ਸਾਰੁ = ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਮੱਤਾਂ ਕੱਚੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਉੱਦਮ ਕੱਚੇ-ਪਿੱਲੇ ਹਨ (ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝੇ ਹੋਏ) ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਟਟੌਲੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ।
ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਚੁ ਪਿਚੁ = ਕੱਚਾ-ਪਿੱਲਾ। ਅੰਧੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੁ = ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ; ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਟਟੌਲਾ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਇਹ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਰ ਦੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥
