Fareedkot Teekaਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਹਮ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੋਂ ਕਾ ਦਾਨ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਮਰਤੇ ਕੋ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਕਰ ਜੀਵਾਯਾ ਹੈ। ਜੈਸੇ ਜਲ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ (ਮੀਨਾ) ਮਛ (ਉਰਝਾਇਓ) ਉਰਝ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ, ਭਾਵ ਮਿਲਾ ਰਹਿਤਾ ਹੈ, ਇਸੀ ਤਰਹਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨਾਲ ਇਉਂ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੱਛੀ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਦਾਨੁ = ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਖ਼ੈਰ। ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ = ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਉਰਝਾਇਓ = (ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨਾਲ) ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੋੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੀਨਾ = ਮੱਛੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਮੈਂ (ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ) ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਲੋਭ ਹਉਮੈ ਈਰਖਾ (ਆਦਿਕ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਕਾਰ) ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਕੱਢ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਦ = ਹਉਮੈ। ਮਤਸਰ = ਈਰਖਾ। ਅਰਪਿ = ਅਰਪ ਕੇ। ਅਰਪਿ ਦਾਨੁ ਕੀਨਾ = ਅਰਪ ਕੇ ਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ, ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਗੁਰੋਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਹਰੀ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਯਾ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਏਹ ਅਗ੍ਯਾਨ ਰੋਗ ਕੀ ਨਿਬ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਔਖਧ ਦੀਆ ਹੈ। ਤੋ ਸਰਬ ਮੇਂ ਜੋ (ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਾ) ਚਤੁਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਮਿਲਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥☬ਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਐਸੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ (ਆਪਣਾ) ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹਰਿ-ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਵਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਤਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ = ਉਪਦੇਸ਼। ਦ੍ਰਿੜਾਇ = (ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ) ਪੱਕਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਅਉਖਧੁ = ਦਵਾਈ, ਦਾਰੂ। ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਤਉ = ਤਦੋਂ। ਸਗਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨਾ = ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! (ਹੁਣ ਮੇਰਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ) ਤੇਰਾ ਘਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੂੰ (ਸਚ-ਮੁਚ) ਮੇਰੇ (ਇਸ ਘਰ ਦਾ) ਮਾਲਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗ੍ਰਿਹੁ = ਹਿਰਦਾ-ਘਰ। ਠਾਕੁਰੁ = ਮਾਲਕ। ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਹਉ = ਹਉਮੈ। ਖੋਈ = ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ- (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਸੋਮਾ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੇ ਭੰਡਾਰੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ਲੱਭ ਲਏ ਹਨ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੩੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਹਜ ਘਰੁ = ਆਤਮਕ ਅਡੋਲਤਾ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ। ਪਾਇਆ = ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਖਜੀਨਾ = ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨੇ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੩੩॥
