Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਪੁੰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੁੱਚਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਪਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ,
Fareedkot Teekaਕ੍ਰੋੜੋਂ ਦਾਨ ਔ ਤੀਰਥ ਇਸਨਾਨ ਔ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਨੇਕ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਤਿਸ ਨੇ ਕਰ ਲਈਆਂ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ (ਰੁਪਏ) ਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ, ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਵਾਰੀ ਤੀਰਥ-ਇਸ਼ਨਾਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਹੀ ਸੁੱਚ ਤੇ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਧਨ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਹਨ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋਟਿ = ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ। ਅਨਿਕ = ਅਨੇਕਾਂ। ਸੋਧਨ = ਸੁੱਚ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਧਨ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜੀਭ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਸਨਾ = ਜੀਭ (ਨਾਲ)। ਸਰਬ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਬਿਮੁਚਤੇ = ਬਿਮੁੱਚਤੇ, ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਾਲਣ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਕੁ ਭਰ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੜ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
Fareedkot Teekaਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਾਂਤ ਜੈਸੇ (ਈਧਣੁ) ਲਕੜੀਆਂ ਕਾ ਸਮਦਾਯ (ਘਣਾ) ਬਹੁਤਾ (ਕੀਤੋਮੂ) ਕੀਆ ਹੈ, (ਭੋਰੀ) ਥੋੜੇ ਮਾਤ੍ਰ ਭੀ (ਭਾਹਿ) ਅਗਨੀ ਤਿਸ ਮੇਂ (ਦਿਤੀਮੁ) ਲਗਾਇ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ, ਤਬ ਵਹੁ ਸਭ ਜਲ ਕਰ ਭਸਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਾਲਣ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰਤਾ ਕੁ ਅੱਗ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। (ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਹੀ ਬਾਲਣ ਸੜ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ)ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਈਧਣੁ = ਬਾਲਣ। ਮੂ = ਮੈਂ। ਘਣਾ = ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ। ਭੋਰੀ = ਰਤਾ ਕੁ। ਦਿਤੀਮੁ = ਮੂ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਮੈਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਭਾਹਿ = ਅੱਗ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤੈਸੇ ਹੀ ਜਬ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਸਚਾ ਸਹੁ ਪਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਆਇ ਵਸੈ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ! ਤਬ ਇਸ ਜੀਵ ਕੇ ਵਹੁ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਪ ਲਾਹਿ ਦੇਤਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਦੂਰ ਕਰ ਦੇਤਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਜੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ ਸੱਚਾ ਸਾਂਈ ਵੱਸ ਪਏ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੋਝੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਨਿ = ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਹਭੇ = ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ। ਡੁਖੜੇ = ਕੋਝੇ ਦੁੱਖ। ਉਲਾਹਿ = ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੨॥
