ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਰਵਰੁ = ਸੋਹਣਾ ਤਲਾਬ; (ਸਰ = ਤਲਾਬ। ਵਰ = ਸ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਟ)। ਵਥੁ = (ਅਸਲ) ਚੀਜ਼।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਛਪੜਿ ਢੂਢੈ = ਜੇ ਛੱਪੜ ਭਾਲੀਏ। ਚਿਕੜਿ = ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿਚ ॥੫੩॥
* ਨੋਟ: ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਨੰ: ੫੦ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸੇ ਭੇਖੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਵਿਚ 'ਛੱਪੜ' ਵਰਗਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਨੰ: ੫੧ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸੇ ਸੁੱਚੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੇ 'ਸਰਵਰੁ' ਆਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
