Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮਾਂ! (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣ) ਰਾਜਸ ਤਾਮਸ ਸਾਤਕ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਾਜ, ਤਾਮ, ਸਾਤਕੁ = ਰਾਜਸ, ਤਾਮਸ, ਸਾਤਕ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਗੁਣ), ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਕੁਝ (ਇਹ ਜਗਤ) ਦਿੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਸਾਰਾ ਨਾਸਵੰਤ ਹੈ। ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਹੀ ਐਸੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਅਟੱਲ ਹਨ (ਭਾਵ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਜੋ ਮਰਯਾਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸੀ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਕਦੇ ਭੀ ਕਿਤੇ ਭੀ ਬਦਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀ) ॥੩॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿਮਾਨ = ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਦਿੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਜਗਤ। ਆਗਾਧਾ = ਅਗਾਧ, ਅਥਾਹ, ਅੰਤ-ਰਹਿਤ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ (ਆਪਣੇ ਵਰਗਾ) ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਗਤ-ਤਮਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਖਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਆਪੇ = ਆਪ ਹੀ। ਸਭੁ ਖੇਲੁ = ਸਾਰਾ (ਜਗਤ-) ਤਮਾਸ਼ਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਔਰ ਕਿਸੀ ਪਰਕਾਰ ਸੇ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਪਾਯਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਗੁਰੋਂ ਕੋ ਮਿਲ ਕਰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕੋ ਲਾਧਾ ਹੈ॥੪॥੬॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਭੀ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸਕਦਾ। ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਹੀ) ਲੱਭ ਸਕੀਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੪॥੬॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਹੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ = (ਹੋਰ) ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ। ਰੇ = ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਨਾਨਕ = ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ॥੪॥੬॥
