ਅੰਤੁ. ਨ ਪਾਵਤ, ਦੇਵ ਸਬੈ ਮੁਨਿ; ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਮਹਾ ਸਿਵ ਜੋਗ ਕਰੀ ॥

ant. na paavat, dev sabai mun; indr mahaa siv jog karee |

Sant Singh KhalsaAll the gods, silent sages, Indra, Shiva and Yogis have not found the Lord's limits
Manmohan SinghAll the gods, sages, Indra and great Shiva, who practised Yoga, have found not the Lord's limit and not even Brahma,
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਰਿਸ਼ੀਆਂ, ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਗ ਕਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦੇ ਓੜਕ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਰਹਮੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ,
Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਅੰਤ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਇ ਸਕਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਮੁਨੀਓਂ ਕੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਜੋ ਮਹਾਂ ਮੁਨੀ ਹੈਂ ਔ ਮਹਾਂ ਜੋਗੀ ਜੋ (ਜੋਗ ਕਰੀ) ਜੋਗ ਦੇ ਕਰਨੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਜੀ ਹੈਂ ਜਿਨੋਂ ਨੇ ਜੋਗ ਕੀ ਰੀਤੀ ਕਰੀ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਭੀ ਅੰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਮੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਦਾ) ਅੰਤ ਨਾਹ ਪਾਇਆ। ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜੋਗ-ਸਾਧਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ,

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸ੍ਰਬੈ = ਸਾਰੇ। ਜੋਗ = ਜੋਗ ਦੀ ਸਾਧਨਾ। ਕਰੀ = ਕੀਤੀ।

SikhNet (Spanish)Los Dioses, los Sabios Silenciosos, Indra, Shiva y los Yoguis no han podido encontrar los Límites de Dios.

ਫੁਨਿ ਬੇਦ ਬਿਰੰਚਿ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ; ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪੁ. ਨ ਛਾਡੵਿਉ ਏਕ ਘਰੀ ॥

fun bed biranch bichaar rahio; har jaap. na chhaaddayiau ek gharee |

Sant Singh Khalsanot even Brahma who contemplates the Vedas. I shall not give up meditating on the Lord, even for an instant.
Manmohan Singhwho continues reflecting upon the Vedas; so, I leave not the Lord's meditation even for an instant.

Fareedkot Teekaਜਿਸ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਂ ਵੇਦੋਂ ਕਾ ਵੀਚਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਹਿਆ ਹੈ ਔ ਹਰੀ ਕੇ ਜਾਪ ਕੋ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਏਕ ਘੜੀ ਮਾਤ੍ਰ ਭੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੋਡਿਆ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਬੇਦ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕੇ ਥੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਰੀ ਦਾ ਜਾਪ ਇਕ ਘੜੀ ਨਾਹ ਛੱਡਿਆ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਫੁਨਿ = ਅਤੇ। ਬਿਰੰਚਿ = ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ। ਨ ਛਾਡ੍ਯ੍ਯਉ = ਨਾਹ ਛੱਡਿਆ।

ਮਥੁਰਾ ਜਨ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਦੀਨ ਦਯਾਲੁ ਹੈ; ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਟਿ ਨਿਹਾਲੁ ਕਰੀ ॥

mathuraa jan ko prabh deen dayaal hai; sangat srisatt nihaal karee |

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਗੋਲੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਸਕੀਨਾ ਉਤੇ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨ ਹੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਉਹ ਸਾਧ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਰੋਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਦਾਸ ਮਥੁਰਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ) ਦੀਨਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਆਪ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੇ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋ = ਦਾ। ਕਰੀ = ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੋਤਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਵਿਚ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੀ ॥੪॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਰਾਮਦਾਸਿ ਗੁਰੂ = ਗੁਰੂ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਨੇ। ਗੁਰ ਜੋਤਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਵਾਲੀ ਜੋਤਿ ॥੪॥

Sant Singh KhalsaIn the great darkness of this world, the Lord revealed Himself, incarnated as Guru Arjun.
Manmohan SinghIn this world, there is no other saint. Arjan, the Lord has make manifest, as His own incarnate.

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਘੋਰ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ (ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ) ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ (ਰਾਖਾ) ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਨੂੰ (ਹਰੀ ਨੇ) ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਉਰੁ ਨ = ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜਗ ਮਹਾ ਤਮ ਮੈ = ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ। ਤਮ = ਹਨੇਰਾ। ਮੈ = ਮਹਿ, ਵਿਚ। ਉਜਾਗਰੁ = ਵਡਾ, ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ। ਆਨਿ = ਲਿਆ ਕੇ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮਥੁਰਾ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ (ਉਸ ਪਾਸੋਂ) ਨਾਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੋਟਿਕ = ਕ੍ਰੋੜਾਂ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ = ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ।

ਇਹ ਪਧਤਿ ਤੇ, ਮਤ ਚੂਕਹਿ ਰੇ ਮਨ; ਭੇਦੁ ਬਿਭੇਦੁ ਨ ਜਾਨ ਬੀਅਉ ॥

eih padhat te, mat chookeh re man; bhed bibhed na jaan beeo |

Sant Singh KhalsaO mortal being, do not leave this path; do not think that there is any difference between God and Guru.
Manmohan SinghO man, thou miss not this path of the Guru and thou destroy the very idea of distinction between the Guru and God and deem not the Guru as another.

Fareedkot Teekaਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਇਸ ਗੁਰ ਪਧਤੀ ਤੇ ਮਤ ਭੂਲ। ਜੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਔਰ ਹਰੀ ਮੇਂ ਭੇਦ ਬੁਧੀ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੋ (ਬਿਭੇਦ) ਕਾਟ ਦੇਹੁ, ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ (ਬੀਅਉ) ਔਰ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਨ ਜਾਣ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ! ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੰਝ ਨਾਹ ਜਾਈਂ, ਕਿਤੇ ਇਹ ਵਿੱਥ ਨ ਸਮਝੀਂ, ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ (ਹਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰਾ) ਦੂਜਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਪਧਤਿ = ਰਾਹ। ਤੇ = ਤੋਂ। ਮਤ = ਮਤਾਂ। ਚੂਕਹਿ = ਖੁੰਝ ਜਾਏਂ। ਭੇਦੁ = ਫ਼ਰਕ, ਵਿਥ। ਬੀਅਉ = ਦੂਜਾ।

ਪਰਤਛਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਗੁਰ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਕੈ; ਹਰਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ਲੀਅਉ ॥੫॥

jab lau. nahee bhaag lilaar udai; tab lau. bhramate firate bahu dhaayau |

Sant Singh KhalsaAs long as the destiny written upon my forehead was not activated, I wandered around lost, running in all directions.
Manmohan SinghSo long as destiny on my forehead appeared not, till then I wandered and ran about in various directions.
Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜਦ ਤਾਂਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਲਭਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਉਘੜੀ, ਉਦੋਂ ਤਾਈ ਭਟਕਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਥਾਂਈ ਭਜਿਆ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਸਾਂ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਦ ਤਾਈਂ ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਭਾਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਜਾਗੇ, ਤਦ ਤਾਈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਟਕਦੇ ਤੇ ਭੱਜਦੇ ਫਿਰਦੇ ਸਾਂ,

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਬ ਲਉ = ਜਦ ਤਾਈਂ। ਲਿਲਾਰ ਭਾਗ = ਮੱਥੇ ਦੇ ਭਾਗ। ਉਦੈ = ਜਾਗੇ। ਬਹੁ ਧਾਯਉ = ਬਹੁਤ ਦੌੜਦੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਾਚਅਹਿ = ਪੜ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੁਖਿ = ਮੂੰਹੋਂ। ਗਾਵੈ = ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪੁਰਾਣ = ਵਿਆਸ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਠਾਰਾਂ ਧਰਮ-ਪੁਸਤਕ।

* ਨੋਟ: ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਵਈਏ 'ਹਰਿਬੰਸ' ਭੱਟ ਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਵਈਏ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜੁਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਹਿੰਦੂ ਮਤ ਵਿਚ ਗੰਗਾ, ਪੁਰਾਣ ਤੇ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਉੱਚਤਾ ਮੰਨੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਭੱਟ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਉਤੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਾਮ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ, ਮਾਨੋ, ਗੰਗਾ ਜਲ ਹੈ। ਪੁਰਾਣ ਤੇ ਵੇਦ ਭੀ ਗੁਰੂ-ਦਰ ਦੀ ਸੋਭਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬਾਬਾ ਲਹਣਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੈਸ਼ਨੋ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇ ਦਰ ਤੇ ਝਾੜੂ ਦੇਂਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਭੱਟ ਹਰਿਬੰਸ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਗੰਗਾ, ਪੁਰਾਣ ਤੇ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਜ਼ਤ ਸੀ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਦਰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਭੀ ਸੇਵਕ ਹਨ। (ਹਰਿਬੰਸ ਭੱਟ ਦੇ ੨ ਸਵਈਏ)। ਸਾਰਾ ਵੇਰਵਾ: ਕਲ੍ਯ੍ਯਹਸਾਰ = ੧੨। ਮਥੁਰਾ = ੭। ਹਰਿਬੰਸ = ੨। ਜੋੜ ੨੧। ਅਖ਼ੀਰਲੇ ਅੰਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੇਰਵਾ: ਸਵਈਏ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਖ ਬਾਕ੍ਯ੍ਯ ੯ = ੧੧। ਸਵਈਏ ਮਹਲੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕੇ = ੧੦। ਸਵਈਏ ਮਹਲੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਕੇ = ੧੦। ਸਵਈਏ ਮਹਲੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਕੇ = ੨੨। ਸਵਈਏ ਮਹਲੇ ਚੌਥੇ ਕੇ = ੬੦। ਸਵਈਏ ਮਹਲੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਕੇ = ੨੧। ਕੁੱਲ ਜੋੜ = ੧੪੩। ਅੰਕ ੧੨੨ ਵਿਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਵਿਚ ਉਚਾਰੇ ੨੧ ਸਵਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਾਰੇ ਭੱਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੇਰਵਾ: (੧) ਕਲ੍ਯ੍ਯਸਹਾਰ . . ੧੦ . . ੧੦ . . ੯ . . ੧੩ . . ੧੨ . . = ੫੪। (੨) ਜਾਲਪ . . ੫ . . = ੫। (੩) ਕੀਰਤ . . ੪
