ਮਾਨੁ ਅਭਿਮਾਨੁ ਦੋਊ ਸਮਾਨੇ; ਮਸਤਕੁ ਡਾਰਿ. ਗੁਰ ਪਾਗਿਓ ॥

maan abhimaan doaoo samaane; masatak ddaar. gur paagio |

Sant Singh KhalsaHonor and dishonor are the same to me; I have placed my forehead upon the Guru's Feet.

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭੈਣ! ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰੇ, ਕੋਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਕੜ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਲੂਕ ਕਰੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਜਾਪਦੇ ਹਨ, (ਕਿਉਂਕਿ) ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੱਥਾ (ਸਿਰ) ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਮਾਨੁ = ਆਦਰ। ਅਹੰਕਾਰੁ = ਆਕੜ। ਸਮਾਨੇ = ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹੇ। ਮਸਤਕੁ = ਮੱਥਾ। ਪਾਗਿਓ = ਪੈਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ।

Fareedkot Teekaਵਿਭੂਤੀ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਣੇ ਕਰ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਤਾ, (ਆਪਤ) ਅਪਦਾ ਪੜ ਜਾਵੇ ਤੌ ਦੁਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਨਤੇ।☬ਜੇ ਕਹੇ ਹਰਖ ਸੋਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਹੋਤੇ? ਤਿਸ ਪਰ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:☬ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਮੇਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਲਗ ਰਹਾ ਹੈ॥੧॥☬ਜੇ ਕਹੇ ਤਿਸ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕੋ ਕਿਸ ਅਸਥਾਨ ਮੇਂ ਜਾਨਿਆਂ ਹੈ? ਤਿਸ ਪਰ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਵਿਚ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਪਿਆਰ ਬਣ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਧਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ, ਤੇ ਆਈ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸੰਪਤ ਹਰਖੁ = (ਆਏ) ਧਨ ਦੀ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ। ਆਪਤ ਦੂਖਾ = (ਆਈ) ਬਿਪਤਾ ਦਾ ਦੁੱਖ। ਰੰਗੁ = ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਭੈਣ! ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਮਾਲਕ-ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹੀ ਨਜ਼ਰੀਂ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬਾਸ ਬਾਸ = ਸਭ ਘਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ। ਰੀ = ਹੇ ਸਖੀ! ਉਦਿਆਨ = ਜੰਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਚ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਗੁਰੂ-ਸੰਤ (ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਭਟਕਣਾ ਮੁਕਾ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਹੁਣ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਰਬ-ਵਿਆਪਕ ਦਿੱਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਡਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹਾਂ ॥੨॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ = ਭਟਕਣਾ। ਪੂਰਨ = ਵਿਆਪਕ। ਸਰਬਾਗਿਓ = ਸਰਬੱਗ, ਸਭ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ॥੨॥

Fareedkot Teekaਕਰਤੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾਰਣ ਕਾਰਜ ਰੂਪ ਜਗਤ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ, (ਮਨਿ) ਆਤਮ ਮਨਨ ਕਰਨੇ ਸੇ ਵਾ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਗਤਾ। ਭਾਵ ਏਹ ਕਿ ਕਿਸੀ ਮੇਂ ਗਲਾਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਉਠਤੀ ਸਭ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਪਰ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭੈਣ! ਜਦੋਂ ਭੀ) ਜੇਹੜਾ ਹੀ ਸਬੱਬ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਨੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ (ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਉਹ) ਭੈੜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਰਬ ਲੋਕ = ਮਾਤ ਲੋਕ, ਪਾਤਾਲ ਲੋਕ, ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਲੋਕ, ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ। ਮੰਡਲ = ਚੱਕਰ। ਗਿਰਿ = ਡਿੱਗ ਕੇ। ਧਰਣੀ = ਧਰਤੀ ਉਤੇ (ਨੀਵੀਂ ਆਤਮਕ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਵਿਚ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਜੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸਾਰੀ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦੀ ਹੀ ਮਾਇਆ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰ ਲਏ, ਤਾਂ ਭੀ ਲੋਭ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਰਾਂ ਮਿਟਦੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਨ = ਮਾਤ, ਪਾਤਾਲ ਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼। ਲਖਮੀ = ਮਾਇਆ। ਜੋਰੀ = ਜੋੜ ਲਈ। ਲਹਰੇ = ਲੋਭ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਹਰਾਂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਬੂਝਤ ਨਾਹੀ = ਮਿਟਦੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ। ਕਹਾ = ਕਿਥੇ? ਥਿਤਿ = {स्थिति} ਟਿਕਾਓ। ਪਹਰੇ ਪਹਰੇ = ਹਰੇਕ ਪਹਰ, ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ। ਫਿਰਤੋ = ਭਟਕਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੨॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ! ਗੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿ) ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦਾ ਉੱਦਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ, ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਹੋਰ ਹੀ (ਕੋਝੇ ਕੰਮ) ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਇਨਹਿ = ਇਸ ਜੀਵ ਨੇ। ਜਪ ਤਪ = ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਰੋਕ ਦੇ ਉੱਦਮ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਇਹ ਜੀਵ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਸ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਭਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੇਹੜੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ (ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ) ਬੱਝਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ? ॥੧॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦਹ ਦਿਸਿ = ਦਸੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ। ਦਉਰਾਇਓ = ਭਜਾਇਆ, ਦੌੜਾਇਆ। ਕਰਿ = ਕਰ ਕੇ। ਬਾਧਾ = ਬੱਝਾ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ ॥੧॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਮੋਹ ਵਿਚ ਫਸ ਕੇ ਜੀਵ ਹਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਹੀ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ-) ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਦਾ ਧਨ ਦਾ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਇਸ (ਧਨ ਆਦਿ) ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ ਹਾਂ, ਇਹ ਧਨ ਆਦਿਕ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਭੂਮਿ = ਧਰਤੀ। ਠਾਕੁਰੁ = ਮਾਲਕ। ਹਉ = ਮੈਂ। ਇਹੁ = ਇਹ ਧਨ।
