ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਤੇ; ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਈ ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਉਮੈ = ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਵਿਚ। ਜਲਿ ਜਾਈ = ਸੜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਆਤਮਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਸੁਆਹ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ॥੩॥

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਬਾਹਰ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਭੀ ਉਹੀ ਪਸਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਿਰਦੈ = ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਸੁ = ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗੁਰਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਨੇ। ਚੂਕਾ = ਮੁੱਕਾ ਗਿਆ।
