Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਖਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਬਣਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ, ਲੱਖਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡਾਂ ਤੋਂ (ਫਿਰ) ਤੂੰ ਇਕ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਆਪ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਮੈਂ ਦੱਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਡਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੈਂ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਏਕਸੁ ਤੇ = (ਤੈਂ) ਇੱਕ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ। ਲਾਖ = ਲੱਖਾਂ ਜਗਤ। ਤੇ = ਤੋਂ। ਗਤਿ = ਹਾਲਤ। ਮਿਤਿ = ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ਾ।

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਸਾਧੋਂ ਕਾ ਸੰਗ ਔਰ ਸਾਧੋਂ ਸੇ ਹੀ ਗੋਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨੀ ਔਰ ਸਾਧੋਂ ਸੇ ਹੀ (ਲਿਵ) ਬਿਰਤੀ ਕਾ ਲਗਾਉਣਾ ਦੇਵੋ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੜਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਮੈਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ (ਤੇਰੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਦਾ) ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਰਤ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹਾਂ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਸਾਧਨ ਕਾ ਸੰਗੁ = ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ। ਸਿਉ = ਨਾਲ। ਗੋਸਟਿ = ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ। ਲਿਵ = ਲਗਨ, ਪ੍ਰੀਤ। ਲਾਉ = ਲਾਉਂ, ਮੈਂ ਲਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦਾਸ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਕਰ ਕਹਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਗੁਰਮਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਤੋਰੇ ਕੋ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋ ਭੀ ਅਪਨਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੀਜੀਏ। ਏਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਂ ਚਾਉ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧॥☬ਆਗੇ ਪਾਖੰਡ ਕੀ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕਰਤੇ ਹੈਂ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਉਤੇ ਤੁਰਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ (ਬੜੀ) ਤਾਂਘ ਹੈ, (ਮੈਨੂੰ) ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਸਨ ਦੇਹ ॥੪॥੧॥ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ = ਹੇ ਦਾਸ ਨਾਨਕ! ਗੁਰਮਤਿ = ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਮੱਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ। ਹਰਿ = ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਮਨਿ = (ਮੇਰੇ) ਮਨ ਵਿਚ। ਚਾਉ = ਤਾਂਘ ॥੪॥੧॥
