Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਇਨਸਾਨ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੇ, ਜੋ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਛ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜੋ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਹੀ (ਹਰੇਕ ਦੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੀ) ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਫਬਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ (ਭਾਵ, ਉਸ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ),ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਤਿਸੁ ਸਿਉ = ਉਸ (ਪ੍ਰਭੂ) ਨਾਲ (ਨੋਟ: ਲਫ਼ਜ਼ 'ਜਿਸੁ' 'ਤਿਸੁ' ਦਾ (ੁ) ਕਈ ਸੰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਟਿਕਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਥੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਕ 'ਸਿਉ' ਨਾਲ; ਪਰ ਕਈ ਸੰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ (ੁ) ਲਹਿ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ; ਜਿਵੇਂ, ਤੀਜੀ ਤੁਕ ਵਿਚ 'ਜਿਸ ਕੀ')। ਜਿ = ਜੋ। ਜਾਣੁ = ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ।

Fareedkot Teekaਤਾਂ ਤੇ ਤਿਸ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੀ (ਚੀਰੀ) ਚਿਠੀ ,ਭਾਵ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੁੜਤੀ, ਸੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਪਰਵਾਣ ਹੈ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਮੰਨਿਆ ਮਾਲਕ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੋਈ ਮੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦਾ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਚੀਰੀ = ਚਿੱਠੀ, ਪਰਵਾਨਾ, ਹੁਕਮ। ਨਾ ਫਿਰੈ = ਮੋੜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ। ਪਰਵਾਣੁ = ਮੰਨਿਆ-ਪ੍ਰਮੰਨਿਆ।

Prof. Sahib Singh(ਇਸ ਵਾਸਤੇ) ਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! ਉਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਚੰਗਾ (ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ) ਹੈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਾਰ = ਕੰਮ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਇਹਨਾਂ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਤੁਰਨਾ ਹੈ,ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਹਥਿ = ਹੱਥ ਵਿਚ, ਵੱਸ ਵਿਚ।

Manmohan Singh (Punjabi)ਜਦ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਠ ਕੇ ਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Fareedkot Teekaਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕਾ ਜਬ (ਫੁਰਮਾਣੁ) ਹੁਕਮ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਬ ਜੀਵ ਉਠ ਕਰ (ਕਰਲੈ) ਰਸਤੇ ਪੜ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੋਣੇ ਸਾਰ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਜੀਵ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਗਾਮੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਸ ਵੇਲੇ) ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ (ਇਹ ਜੀਵ) ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਰਾਹੇ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਲਾ = ਰਸਤਾ, ਰਾਹ। ਕਰਲੈ = ਰਾਹੇ, ਰਸਤੇ ਤੇ। ਪਾਹਿ = ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਜੇਹਾ ਚੀਰੀ ਲਿਖਿਆ; ਤੇਹਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਕਮਾਹਿ ॥

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਜੀਵ) ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

Fareedkot Teekaਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਤੇ ਹੈਂ: ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੇ (ਘਲੇ) ਭੇਜੇ ਹੂਏ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮੇਂ ਆਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ ਔਰ (ਸਦੇ) ਬੁਲਾਏ ਹੂਏ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਕੋ ਉਠ ਕਰ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਤੇ ਹੈਂ, ਭਾਵ ਇਹ ਕਿ ਸਭ ਕੁਛ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਕੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੈ॥੧॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਨਾਨਕ! (ਉਸ ਮਾਲਕ ਦੇ) ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ (ਇਥੇ ਜਗਤ ਵਿਚ) ਆ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਏ ਹੋਏ (ਇਥੋਂ) ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਤੁਰ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ॥੧॥
