ਤੇਰੇ ਜਨ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ, ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਇਕ ਚਿਤਿ; ਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹਿ, ਜਪਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥

tere jan dhiaaveh, ik man ik chit; te saadhoo sukh paaveh, jap har har naam nidhaan |

Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਇਕ-ਮਨ ਇਕ-ਚਿੱਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪ ਜਪ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧਿਆਵਹਿ = ਧਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ (ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਇਕ ਮਨਿ = ਇਕ ਮਨ ਨਾਲ। ਇਕ ਚਿਤਿ = ਇਕ ਚਿੱਤ ਨਾਲ। ਤੇ ਸਾਧੂ = ਉਹ ਭਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ। ਜਪਿ = ਜਪ ਕੇ। ਨਿਧਾਨ = (ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦਾ) ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਹਿ = ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ (ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਪ੍ਰਭ = ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮਿਲਿ = ਮਿਲ ਕੇ। ਭਗਵਾਨ = ਹੇ ਭਗਵਾਨ! ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਹੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਮੀ! ਜਿਨ ਕੇ ਰਿਦੇ ਮੇਂ ਤੂੰ ਬਸਤਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ ਸੁਖ ਰੂਪ ਫਲ ਕੋ ਪਾਵਤੇ ਹੈਂ। ਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ਸੇ ਤਰੇ ਹੈਂ ਔਰ ਹੇ ਹਰੀ! ਓਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਹੈਂ॥
Prof. Sahib Singhਹੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਤੂੰ ਵੱਸ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਉਹ ਆਤਮਕ ਆਨੰਦ ਦਾ ਫਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਭਗਤ ਜਾਣੋ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੈ ਹਿਰਦੈ = ਦੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿਚ। ਸੁਆਮੀ = ਹੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ! ਤੇ = ਉਹ (ਬਹੁ-ਵਚਨ)। ਭਵ ਸਿੰਧੁ = ਸੰਸਾਰ-ਸਮੁੰਦਰ। ਜਾਨ = ਜਾਣੋ।

Prof. Sahib Singhਜਿਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ (ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ) ਸਾਰੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ (ਗੋਪਾਲ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੀਏ) ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਦੁਖ ਬਿਦਾਰਨ = ਦੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ। ਜਾ ਕਉ = ਜਿਸ (ਗੁਰੂ) ਨੂੰ। ਭੇਟਤ = ਮਿਲਿਆਂ। ਹੋਇ = ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ (ਇਕ-ਵਚਨ)। ਸਿਧਿ = ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ, ਸਫਲਤਾ। ਸਗਲ = ਸਾਰੀ, ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
