Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਸ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਨੇ ਸੇ ਅਚਲ ਪਤੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ੍ਵਰ ਮਿਲਾ ਹੈ॥੨॥੧੦੬॥੧੭੫॥☬ਏਕ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਜਿਸ ਕੀ 'ਕੁਦੂ' ਸੰਗਿਆ ਥੀ। ਸੋ ਐਸਾ ਥਾ ਕਿ ਜਹਾਂ ਕਿਸੀ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਵਿਵਾਹ ਹੋਤਾ ਥਾ ਤਹਾਂ ਜਾਇ ਕਰ ਕੂਦਤਾ ਔਰ ਨਾਚਤਾ ਥਾ ਅਰ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਉਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਅਤਸੇ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਭੰਡੀ ਪਾਇ ਕਰ ਰੁਪਯਾ ਲੇ ਲੇਤਾ ਥਾ। ਓਹ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜੀ ਮੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਵਿਵਾਹ ਪਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਹਜੂਰ ਆਇਆ। ਤਾਂ ਸਿਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੋ ਦੇਖ ਕਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰੀ ਕਿ ਹੇ ਸਚੇ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੁ ਏਹੁ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਲੋਕੋਂ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਖ ਦੇਤਾ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਪਰਥਾਇ ਏਹ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਿਆ:
Prof. Sahib Singhਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜਪਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਖਸਮ (ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ) ॥੨॥੧੦੬॥

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਅਸਥਿਰੁ = ਸਦਾ ਕਾਇਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ। ਸੋਹਾਗੁ = {सौभाग्य} ਖਸਮ, ਪਤੀ ॥੨॥

* ਨੋਟ: ਇਥੋਂ ਤਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ੧੦੬ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹਨ। ਪਿਛਲਾ ਜੋੜ ੭੦ ਸੀ। ਵੱਡਾ ਜੋੜ ੧੭੬ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਜੋੜ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਕਮੀ ਚਲੀ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ, ਇਥੇ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਕਮੀ ਦਿੱਸ ਪਈ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਅੰਕ ਭੰਨਣੇ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਅਗਾਂਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਅੰਕ ਲਿਖਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਧੋਤੀ ਖੋਲਿ = ਧੋਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਪਰਲਾ ਅੱਧਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਾਹ ਕੇ। ਹੇਠਿ = ਹੇਠ, ਭੁੰਞੇ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਗਰਧਪ = ਖੋਤਾ। ਪੇਟਿ = ਪੇਟ ਵਿਚ, ਢਿੱਡ ਵਿਚ। ਲਾਹੇ = ਪਾਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, (ਖੀਰ ਆਦਿਕ) ॥੧॥

Fareedkot Teekaਬ੍ਰਹਮਣੋ ਕਾ ਧਰਮ ਏਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਹੇਤੁ ਧਰਮ ਭਜਨ ਮੇਂ ਤਤਪਰ ਹੋਣਾ, ਕ੍ਯੋਂਕਿ ਉਤਮ ਕਰਣੀ ਜੋ ਭਗਤੀ ਹੈ ਤਿਸ ਸੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਾਈਤੀ॥
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਹੇ ਭਾਈ!) ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਐਸਾ ਪਦਾਰਥ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ ਦੇਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕਰਤੂਤੀ = ਕਰਤੂਤ, ਨਾਮ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦਾ ਉੱਦਮ। ਮੁਕਤਿ = ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖ਼ਲਾਸੀ।

ਪਦ ਅਰਥ ਕੁਹਤ = ਮਾਰਦਿਆਂ। ਜੀਆਂ ਕੁਹਤ = ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਂਹਦਿਆਂ, ਆਪਣੇ ਜਜਮਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ। ਨ ਸੰਗੈ = ਨਹੀਂ ਸੰਗਦਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਝਕਦਾ ॥੩॥

Fareedkot Teekaਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਸੁਧ ਹੋਤਾ ਹੈ ਔਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਾ ਬੀਚਾਰ ਕਰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸੋ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਸੇ ਸਾਂਤੀ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਭਯਾ ਹੈ॥੪॥੧੦੭॥੧੭੬॥☬ਪ੍ਰਿਥਮ ਜਬ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਧੂਮ ਧਾਮ ਸਾਥ ਗਏ ਤਬ ਬਾਬੇ ਬੁਢੇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਪੂਛਾ ਕੇ ਏਹੁ ਕੈਸੀ ਗਰਦ ਅਕਾਸ ਚੜੀ ਹੈ। ਸਿਖੋਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੇ ਮਹਲ ਆਵਤੇ ਬਤਾਏ। ਬਾਬੇ ਬੁਢੇ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਆ ਭਾਜੜ ਪੜ ਗਈ। ਤਬ ਮਾਤਾ ਜੀ ਕੋ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕਾ ਵਰ ਲੇਨੇ ਗਏ ਸਰਾਪ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਸ ਬਚਨ ਕੇ ਸਤਿ ਕਰਨੇ ਕੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਛੋਡ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਵਿਡਾਲੀ ਮੇਂ ਜਾਇ ਰਹੇ। ਜੋ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜੀ ਸੇ ਪਛਮ ਕੀ ਤਰਫ ਚਾਰ ਕੋਸ ਪਰ ਹੈ। ਸੁਲਹੀ ਸੁਨ ਕਰ ਰਸਤੇ ਸੇ ਹੀ ਦਿਲੀ ਕੋ ਫਿਰ ਗਿਆ। ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਜਲ ਕਰ ਮਰਾ ਹੈ। ਏਕ ਬਰਸ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਬਿਡਾਲੀ ਮੇਂ ਰਹੇ। ਊਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਕਾ ਜਨਮ ਹੂਆ। ਬਰਸ ਉਪਰਾਂਤ ਜਬ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਆਵਨੇ ਕੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕਰੀ ਤਬ ਗੁਰੂ ਹਰਿਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਜੀ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਇ ਸਬਦ ਉਚਾਰਤੇ ਭਏ:
Prof. Sahib Singh(ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਉਸ ਦਾ ਹਿਰਦਾ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ (ਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਠੱਗੀ-ਫ਼ਰੇਬ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ) ॥੪॥੧੦੭॥
